IBU Academy at ICSS Congress in Val di Fiemme
Gerold Sattlecker, Head of the IBU Academy, and Christoph Gressenbauer, Education Manager, recently attended the International Congress on Science and Skiing (ICSS) in Val di Fiemme. During the congress, they had the opportunity to present the IBU Academy during the biathlon session, showcasing the academy's contributions to biathlon education and research.
The session featured insightful presentations from Prof. James Becker of Montana State University and Vesa Linamo of the University of Jyväskylä. Both researchers shared their studies, funded through the IBU Research Grant Programme. These presentations sparked engaging discussions and provided valuable insights into the latest research in the biathlon field.
In addition to the session, Sattlecker and Gressenbauer had the chance to engage in many fruitful conversations with IBU Academy lecturers and researchers, discussing potential future projects and collaborative efforts in education and research.
