IBU Academy First Level Course 24/25: Week Two Concludes in Pokljuka

The IBU Academy's First Level Course 24/25 continued with its second week of intensive training for 19 biathlon coaches from 19 different National Federations. Held at the world-renowned biathlon venue in Pokljuka, Slovenia, the course provided participants with a unique opportunity to enhance their coaching skills and knowledge.

The second week of the course focused on practical training and skill development. Participants engaged in various sessions covering strength and agility training, shooting intensity, endurance training methods, and practical preparations for youth biathlon competitions. The course also included lectures on biomechanical aspects of shooting, training philosophy, and physiological determinants of biathlon performance.

The IBU Academy expresses its sincere gratitude to the organizing committee in Pokljuka and to this week's IBU Educators: Jonas Johansson, Ilario Maddalin, and Nusa Pogacar – and Lecturers/Experts – Per Oyvind Torvik and Oyvind Sandbakk – for their exceptional support in delivering this important event.
